Saturday 5 May - Monday 7 May 2012 Free Entry Keep all the family entertained this May Bank Holiday – whatever the weather - at IWM North (part of Imperial War Museums) in Manchester. Running from Saturday 5 May until Monday 7 May, the packed programme of FREE activities, including storytelling and creative sessions, will inspire and captivate visitors of all ages.
Visitors inspired by Once Upon A Wartime, a major exhibition bringing famous children’s books to life, can meet a celebrity storyteller. On Monday 7 May, star of CBBC’s My Almost Famous Family and Sunday Times Style columnist Andrew Clover will be entertaining audiences with his own style of storytelling. In Andrew’s Almost Famous Story Session, learn all about his silly and comical Seven Secrets of Storytelling (12.30 – 1.30pm). In his second session, Dreaming Up A Story (2.30pm – 3.30pm), the audience will be encouraged to create their own historical story using Past Life Regression techniques.
